    Gonna try a ride today,...

might get stuck slogging up 8th st, or Rocky Canyon, but I'm meeting the Dirt Dart around 315 or so at CB. He's got a new-fangled freeride bike for me to demo. Anybody want to join up, you're sure welcome, fwiw. Look for my blue/white old Dodge truck full of lumber in the back, or his inconspicuous blue van.
May your trails be narrow, crooked, lonesome and dangerous, leading to the most outrageous adventures. Paladin

    Just got back...

    8th Street is fine...
Half of the Freeway is fine... the sunny parts are drying up nicely, the shady parts are getting there but still sloppy (the ice and puddles have all melted). Hulls, is good up until 300 yards past the Crack is very nice. All in all, if you're willing to do up and back on a few different trails, you can get a good 1 hour plus in. It doesn't hurt that it's over 50 degrees today... Can you say Spring Fever?

good to hook up with Nels, too. For our out of town fans, I have the yellow panels on the tights. Dirt Dart has the goofy skateboard helmet. Nels is all in titanium. Great ride. conditions were perfect, the views fantastic with dark gray clouds all around, and rain falling on everybody but us. And we ROCKED down Sidewinder, what with the rain chasing us, the good traction, no traffic and happy hour ending in half an hour!.
