Georges Cyclocross rider poaching camelsback trails

Walking the dog last night and we come across a cyclocross rider in a Georges jersey riding on the hiking only trails just after sunset. I spoke to him about the infraction and he said he just found out you could not ride bikes. Maybe he needs to get his eyes checked...those no bike signs are mighty large.

email the owner of George's and tell him about it... Nothing like the team/club sponsor talking to the riders to get the message across...

A George's jersey doesn't mean he's in the club. Heck, you can find Spamarack jerseys for sale at the Idaho Youth Ranch.
Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.

Team riders live by no rules. I'll bet he's doping too.

If you were going to poach, why would you ride in your team kit? Unless of course you worked at a different shop? Aha, consipiracy theorists! Those nasty Tamarack riders - obviously paid for by Brundage! Georges? IMT! It's nuts out there.

Um, no thanks. I've got donuts.

    Oh yeah

I saw some barney riders with their paunch of a belly stuffed into a beer logo jersey with big travel bikes run some hikers off the trail and then ride clear off the trail to avoid having to stop for guys riding cyclocross bikes up hill. Who do I call? Twisted is right, anyone can purchase a club/team jersey at shops in town or at the bike swap. Education is the key, just like how you confronted him and pointed out that it was a hiking only trail, doesn't matter what they wear or ride.

I saw a team "Discovery Channel" rider the other day grunting his way up Crestline; and boy-howdy he has been busy catching up on eating and drinking after he finished the Tour de France this year.

Lost in all this jibber jabber is I'll bet Smilycook was walking his dog without a leash in a dog-on-leash area. Maybe he needs to get his eyes checked...those no dogs off leash signs are mighty large.

I'm certainly a Barney rider, and I have a paunch, but I follow the rules.

    So there.

My dog was on leash, I can read the signs. We have been training her to move off the trail for bikes also.
