This is the bald eagle that Impdude ALMOST ran right over. It was a close call but no one was injured!

    I'd recommend riding a bike.
Nobody cares what kind of bike you ride.

Thanks twisted, I saw my thread on the brink of being hi-jacked!

As for the ride, I'm thinking I'll be at a trail head at high noon.

Come on all of you who are sitting at work surfing mtbr.com and looking for good deals on bike parts, go ahead, go to lunch and don't come back. What are ya, scared? Its friday, its spring, the trails are sweet. You know you wanna hit em before 5 when everyone else is climbing the hills you wanna bomb down!!!!

    Do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey CP,
Sorry about this morning. RRB and I had an early work day so we just ran instead of riding. However, we are riding with some folks later this afternoon at 515pm from Fort Boise (parking lot by the RC race course and dog park) if you have some time. RRB and I only have 1 hour but the others may keep going up 3 Bears to 5 Mile.

I recommend a wax or a sugar treatment.

I'd ride with you Ben, but I am sick (mentally and physically).

Here are some pix of that eagle that almost ate me after her handler nearly killed me with that dirty look. Hey they were in the middle of my trail and I didn't see them till I got around that bush.

Well I had a late Friday afternoon/early evening ride....can I play? LOVE the shots of the Eagle. Freaking cool! What were they doing up there with him/her?

Saw some of the usual suspects....Al at the dog **** ponds....Bret coming up Central and then down Shane's (thanks for the tool!!!!)....Gary and Sara Jo with their friends.

I don't know what came over me, but jeez....I was actually riding pretty strong today. Errr relatively speaking...I think it's safe to say that anyone here can outride me with one leg tied behind their back. Just Dorked around down low and somehow strung together three loops of Bucktail & Central. Fun fun fun!!! I think it takes me a good half hour of grunting a trail until I finally start feeling like I ain't gonna keel over and crap out a lung. After that I am good to go...albeit still slowly.

Just a fun ride tonight. Great weather! Great to run into a couple of folks from here. Not nearly as crowded as it was yesterday. Awesome!

Well, since no one could sneak out of work today, I hit MR (aka Military Reserve for you (us) not in the know) since I'm pretty unfamiliar with the area. I took shanes loop to 3 bears, up #6 to where it meets #4 and then came down. What a ride is all I can say. Not a lot of traffic over there and it was a great afternoon. I was so happy to come down sidewinder as it is one of my favorite downhill sprints. I did have to yield to a TON of people who obviously had to work all day and were on their way up as I was coming down.

All in all, it was about 3 hrs up and an hour down. I was a bit worried at the top though. Have you ever ridden so long that your legs run out of juice? That is exactly what happened to me. I couldn't pedal anymore on the roto tilled #6 and pushed my rig most of the way. By the time i hit the top, I was curuious how well my body would hold up on the way down. I did great though, Not a single wipeout! Did I mention the joy that was pulsing through me? Todays ride felt GREAT! Sorry to all of you I may have offended with my singing as we passed!

Hopefully I get to ride with some more of you crazys here soon. Hit me up any!

    Cracka
