    finally got the titus ...

assembled and took it for a short ride. The bike fits, which is definatly a good thing! First impressions are that this bike will be a blast. Well I think I might have gone overboard, but this bike is definatly pimped out.

The new Ride came in at 25lbs, here is a pic of the ride and the evil workshop where it came toegther.

    Is that a blue chain?

Looks great. From the angle in the pic, the blue graphics on the fork remind me of the old Manitou 4, with it's blue flame graphics.

Just curious, did you look at a Yeti ASR-SL? Fairly similar to your Titus. What made you choose the Titus?

made by wipperman, they also have red and black. Kind of a cool item, plus they work great.

I started with a jamis dakar to save money and it was too small and then decide to go all the way with a titus. I thought about an intense but got scared away by bad pivots and did not lust after a yeti. But it was the promise of durable pivots that sold me so I hope it comes true.
