    Endurance event in Ketchum

Rumor has it Nat Ross, Gary Fisher racer, is doing the July endurance race in Ketchum.

I may do the event just to remind myself why I don't race but once every 10 years.
Anyone else have plans to do this event?

    Nope

Looks like a blast, but only 2 weeks before Trans-Rockies, probably a bit to far south for me. Anyone coming up north for the Moose Chase Race in the same Knobby Tire Series? (www.knobbytireseries.com)

22.5 miles does not an endurance event make (me thinks). 3 to 4 of those in a row, well ok...

    22.5 + 22.5 = 45

Were you hung over on the day they taught addition?

And I did see that 2 lap part after all. How do I become an expert?

The flashback caused a memory lapse. I could not remember if it was 45 or 44.5.

I no drinking since I am trying to train for 12 hours of pain...which will make the 45 miles seem really short.

Have you began your pursuit of the next 12 hr monkey race??? If so, which 12hr merry-go-round are you hoping on?

I'm thinking the E100 series looks fun. I'm also considering the Laramie Enduro. I don't think I'll be ready for the Kokopelli 100.

You should join me for the 12hrs of Endurance. It should be fun watching me melt down at hour 9. I hope I don't melt, but I've already began the work for the 12hrs, just in case. My legs are tired everyday it seems, and I've ridden so much in the cold now that 11F doesn't seem that cold.

Don't forget the recovery part. It's most important part.

Recovery?? That is difficult since I have to ride everywhere, and even harder when I have to pack groceries.

Swede, (I hope that is you). I've been on rides with you that have been longer than 2hrs!!! In fact, I specifically remember thinking " Man, Swede is kicking my butt"
