Dubois, ID - couple weeks working there

I just heard I'll be doing a two week long electrical job in Duibois, ID starting Monday August 25th. I looked on Google Earth and it sure looks flat there. However, just to the North is the Targhee National Forest. I see there is the Huntley Canyon Trail heading NorthWest from Spencer. What kind of mountain biking, if any, can I expect?

    Thanks.

There is some great riding in Dubois so don't despair. Within riding distance from town there is the Dubois Badlands with miles of single tract that is fun and fast. On Togwotee Pass there is the Pinnacle Buttes trail (aka Roots Rock Reggae). For the beta go to Kathy's Coffee and ask for Frank. He is one of the gurus in the area. I'm hoping to post a thread on the Pinnacle Buttes Trails soon. Outside of Dubois is PRIME grizzly bear country so be careful if you explore the mountains. I won't ride alone in the moutains and I take pepper spray and make noise.

    Hope that helps.

I found out we were working 12 hour days, so I opted to leave the bike at home.
