CMR Wildlife Refuge and Missouri River

Anyone been riding around the Missouri River east of Great Falls to Fort Peck Lake? I realize there are good trails at the end of the rivers edge trail in Great Falls but what about east of there, the CMR wildlife refuge, Fort Peck lake area? I biked some roads near James Kipp recreation area many years ago but haven't explored much beyond that. The maps don't seem to show trails but lots of roads. This could be a good riding area in late fall, winter and early spring. A good time because the snakes would be gone and the rest of the mountains of montana are locked in snow. Anyone biked these areas?

I don't know and I don't know anyone who does. But last year IMBA was wanting information because some of the area may become wilderness. The worst part of the whole region is the gumbo that happens when wet. There must be some good riding here and there though. It wouldn't be surprising to find a fence every mile out there, the area has been used for grazing forever.
