If anyone cares, some of the best early November conditions EVER are here! High pressure scheduled for the next 7 days. CDT Homestake North is awesome for 18 miles in, and I'm sure it's good to go all the way to Elk Park/I15. What a great trail, newly built, flowy, carvy, jumps everywhere. How's the downhill into Elk Park? I also rode Muskrat, and WOW this is easily one of the best 6 mile downhills ever, anywhere...snowy towards Tizer and Elkhorn though.

We did Homestake N to Maude S yesterday, and agree, primo conditions for NOVEMBER -- go get some!

Afraid: Where's Muskrat? (nevermind, I found it with the google)

i rode stone creek on Tuesday night, it was wet in a few spots but overall pretty nice. loving having lights so the 5 pm sunset doesn't stop the riding this time of year!

Snow is what should stop the riding this time of year. I remember having half a dozen ski days in by now.

Did Muskrat yesterday (for first time) and conditions were primo...

Homestake pass N and S are riding well now, but suspect some of the bangtails are shady enough to still have snow up high (but don't have first hand beta yet, hoping to find out Monday, high pressure system permitting)

How's Helena now? A little storm tonight, but maybe trails will still be dry over there this weekend?

Helena is currently still dry. The forecast doesn't look to me like anything drenching, so it will remain dry. Even if we did get a hard rain, Scratchgravel would still probably be dry.
