    Perfect Riding Conditions (Homestake->Beaver Pond Butte CDT)

    Edited: we rode on Thursday -- trails are in primo shape right now, get them while it's hot!!! We're heading back to try the Northern CDT from Homestake, is there a definitive turnaround point, or does the trail just end??

    +++++

    I was thinking about heading over to the CDT / Beaver Ponds on Thursday.

    Has anybody been riding there this week?

    I'm hoping the recent 60s weather will have melted any lingering snow.

    Conversely, have any Bozemanites been riding Grassy / Bangtail?? Is that drying out?

    We rode Shafthouse two weeks ago, but Bridger riding is over...

    Thanks in advance,

    Montana Rider

    Haven't been anywhere but Sourdough lately. Wall of Death should be good. Pipestone and perhaps the CDT/Beaver Ponds would be worth the risk of a drive.
    I don't know what trail we're on, but at least it's getting dark

    Skiing was great in the Bridgers on Sunday. It looked like the Bangtails still had some white stuff all over them.

    Conditions

    Rode grassy on Tuesday, made it to the flat in the middle before snow ended the adventure. The trail up to that point is actually pretty good, not muddy except for the north facing section right out of the parking lot. Could be riding by this weekend. Stone looks like it could be promising. Leverich is also riding.

    Beaver Ponds

    We just finished a CDT/Beaver Ponds night ride. Trails are riding great. Jump on board before the precip hits.
