Budda and smilycook get eaten by bear...

A big crew headed to the whiteclouds over the weekend to ride the chamberlin/germania loop. No crashes and a broken chain and a sqeaking disc brake that seemed to migrate from person to person... Doug was regretting bisquits and gravey for breakfast by the end and the 16 year old left us all in the dust on the uphill...at least I beat him on the downhill

Great scenery and some bears and deer...

No pictures from me since I left the camera in the truck but others snapped some good shots. I did include a pic from a previous trip.

    Politics aside

While we all had big opinions on what should be done, we kept it to ourselves and shared in the passion.

The climb up was less than pleasant as that morning’s breakfast fought to get out. But the view from the top was spectacular.

Castle Peak with the late crew. Notice the morning omelet is still prevalent.

Can you find the bear? There was a big black bear that ran through the meadow below. Right where we were headed. Urgh!

    More grins

After dropping off the saddle down to the Lake it was time for the descent. And then the climb back to BEER!

    All smiles before dropping in.

... and if we just ... Biscuits and Gravy

    Well
Finally got over the Sourdough food poisoning. Man, what a bad thing to happen on the trail. Nice ride.
