    Boise or Bust!

Alright, t-minus 3 weeks until the move to the Boise area! I've been pouring over the foothills maps of trails for the last few weeks and can't wait to hit the dirt. What shops in town should I hit up for maps and beta?
Also any leads for work in Boise would be much appreciated, as I have one offer but it's in Emmett and I'm not sure about the commute. I've got 16 years of customer service and hospitality experience if that helps. See you soon!

Cool man! Everyone will have their favorite, obviously, but I like Idaho Mountain Touring. They're friendly, knowledgeable and quick turn-around if you need to order something through them. It's also downtown, so you can peruse the selection and then walk down to the Record Exchange and pick up some new music. (I'm no help on the job front, sadly.) Welcome to the valley!

Have lived here 17 years and love it! Agree- IMT is a great shop. Cool, knowledgable people there. Lots of trail info there, too.
The brewery scene is exploding, also!

Idaho Mountain Touring for sure, great little shop and plenty of info.

Check out Bodybuilding.com for work. They're based out of Boise, great company to work for, Free Gym, Volleyball, Basketball, Ping Pong, events all on site. you should be able to get a job in Customer Service no Problem (Though it's tougher to enjoy since they have strict regulations for phone time) I worked there for 4 years as the Senior Video Editor, strongly recommend
