    Bike Skillz Clinic

    Well,

thought I'd post this one more time to see if we DO have 5 other people willing to come up with about 260 each. If not that's fine and I won't bother with this anymore - that's the cost each for a group of 6.

Dude, I don't know if I can anymore. I just had to spend $300 to get the bike working again, so not only do I not have $260, I actually am a bit in the hole.

I wanted to really badly, but when it comes down to it, I just can't come up with that kind of money anytime soon.

It's cool man I understand. I really don't have the money myself, going to sell my Reign frame now and get an Iron Horse 7.x. I already have all the good parts that can take whatever I can dish out, which aint a whole lot but I try! I just need a bigger fork.

So, I guess we all just save our money and ride. I did ask Ian if he would be interested in doing this sort of thing for us (formally), but have not heard back yet.

Well if you'd like, I could always give you some pointers if we ever get out and ride together... I mean I've for the most part got most skills pretty well in hand. By no means mastered though...

That said, it sure would have been nice to learn from someone who has mastered the stuff.

Well I ride everywhere... I ride ussery a lot when the trails are crap.
When they're not, I love to climb up high (or get a ride) and bomb trail 4 or bobs or hardguy...
Oh and of course there's the classic hulls gulch ride... Always a good one for when I'm feeling lazy...

Not going to be riding any time soon though. Getting ready for our huge Moab trip is a big task. I've gotta service 5 bicycles 5 motorcycles and ensure everything is excellent with the 5th wheel...

But on returning, I'd love to go ride...

    I"m out at $260.

I would be interested in a larger group to keep the cost down though.
Oh sh!+ just force upgraded to cat1. Now what?
Best thing about an ultra marathon? I just get to ride my bike for X hours!

Yeah, I'm thinking we can't do it because I took a headcount when we thought we had a larger group on here, but folks can't do it. that's cool. ride on.
