Big Sky riding season - Fall riding?

Hey all - I'm hoping to return to Big Sky for some riding before the snow flies. I know weather is really unpredictable but was hoping to plan something middle of September into October. How far into the Fall does the bike season usually go? We would really want to ride Mtn. to Meadow trail and Madison loops (although higher elevation there might make them more questionable). Thoughts and/or recommendations?
    Thanks in advance!

September is great, possible into October but it always seems to snow one time around then. If you are willing to drive in the event of a cold snap, there are options at Copper City, Lewis and Clark Caverns, Butte or Helena which all resist the first couple of storms.

Big Sky can shut down super early. It was pretty well wiped out by Mid/Late-September last season.

Like aoliver mentioned, you can satellite out to Copper City/Lewis and Clark/Helena.

To be honest at that point in the year I would just go to Utah.
