    Ripmo v1 coil options

I'm not dead set on a coil, but I was a little curious if using a coil shock like the XFusion Vector HLR would work with the v1 Ripmo.

The Vector has an adjustable anti-bottom out setting that increases compression damping towards the end of the stroke. In combination with a progressive spring it seems like it would work fine on just about any frame.

My last bike had a Vector on it and I was extremely impressed.

What worries me most is that I saw MRPs Noah post about the potential for side-loading on these frames. Any thoughts?

The Storia EXT will work. My buddy is riding one and can't stop giving it praise. He is a very good rider.

The Storia was another I was curious about, the hydraulic bottom out protection would be nice. I guess if the Storia will work, the XFusion will...

Main reason I ask is because the XFusion is a $200 shock these days. The Storia is just a little bit more

From what I understand the hydraulic bottom out is why it works. It is the progressive ramping that compensates for the linear kinematics.
