    My Mojo is not cracked

We sometimes hear of problems with carbon frames, but we rarely hear firsthand experiences of how strong they are.

Sunday I was riding down a slick trail in norcal. Crash. My femur was broken in many pieces, requiring 2 titanium rods, steel cable, bone graft, 36 staples, and blood transfusion.

My carbon frame, bars, and seat post were without a scratch.

My only request of Ibis is that they start making CF femurs

Damn man, I hope you heal well. It's going to take some rehab to get back riding I assume. Glad you survived.

Glad you are okay, sounds horrible. Were you close to the trail head?

It was raining, so no heli. So I got carried in a basket 300 yards on a slippery trail to a pickup on a bumpy fire road to an ambulance in the parking lot. Then I got morphine

Great to hear you are recovering and able to joke about it.

There's a very long get well thread for you in the NorCal forum.

    Get strong soon!

    Man,
That is horrible. It must have been very painful. I guess you can never wear enough armor.

I wish you a speedy recovery.
