    MTBR Best of Award

A big thanks to all of you at MTBR from all of us at Ibis for the THREE-PEAT of the MTBR Best All Mountain Bike award that we just got.
We were blown away at the show when Francis presented us the award. We honestly weren't expecting it, there's so much competition out there these days. It made a great Interbike show even better.

    Three years in a row: '07, '08 and '09!

Here's a picture of the award on the side of our 1957 Airstream...

And some happy Ibis (Airstream) campers, from left to right standing is me, Tom Morgan, Colin Hughes. Kneeling in front are Roxy and Hans. I'll let you figure out who is who.

    Ibis Rocks!

Yeee Haaa, looking good Hans! I passed the Ibis Airstream on my way to the CCCX race last Sunday, the truck towing the trailer had a butt load of Ibis bikes, that's what caught my eye.

Congrats...you deserve it! Now how about putting some of that stoke into coming out with the 100mm 29er frame....that way you could have 'best of' in both 26 and 29er.

I'm sold. It's a great machine no doubt. Congratulations indeed coming in a time of so many changes in technology (at least being promoted) by the competitors.

Congratulations! Love my Mojo - and seriously, thank you for stocking Fox RPL shocks for those of us who want them. It's maddening how nobody else but Specialized seems to appreciate them.

An award much deserved to an awesome company and mountain bike!! My friends are getting really jealous and sick of all the attention the Mojo SL is getting everytime we ride! You guys at Ibis have definitely created something very special to attract so much envy, thanks for your hard work and passion.

    Cheers,

You really deserve all the awards you receive

    The reason I love Ibis:

You guys (and Roxy) have made evolutionary changes to the Mojo as opposed to revolutionary changes. The SL and now the HD have raised the bar compared to the excellent "standard" Mojo carbon (my bike) without making the original obsolete or less desirable.

You guys are the "Porsche" of bicycles. Like the 911, your bikes steadily improve from year to year while basically remaining true to the original design. My '07 is three model years old yet would look right at home in the 2009 Ibis booth at Interbike.

Thanks guys, I'm a customer for life.
I'm unique, just like everyone else....

Thanks guys for helping me rediscover my love of mountain biking!

A friend of mine was on the fence about his next bike purchase. Since no Boston area Ibis dealers have demo bikes, I loaned him my bike last week while I was traveling for business. After the first ride, he made his decision. :-)

    The best bike ever, period!

The Ibis Mojo Carbon really set a new standard of what a high end MTB should be, and it has yet to be matched by any other manufacturer. It's pretty obvious from what other brands have been presenting at Eurobike and Interbike that they are trying very hard to imitate the Mojo, but so far nobody comes even close.

Congratulations to the Ibis Team on another well deserved award!!

I just got my white SL a couple months ago and can't say enough good things about it. Really. Being a Single-Pivot die-hard fan for life, having the Mojo was surprisingly refreshing regarding suspension system. The DW link and the Lopes link work so well together. Plus, the bike is probably the most beautiful bike ever, hands down.

Congrats to Scot and all Ibis crew, who seems the most reachable guys in the whole bike industry and yet with a good sense of humor. That works for me!

A deserving win for the IBIS team, the Mojo is simply the best bike I have ever had the pleasure to ride and test.

Congratulations to IBIS, *but* the real winners are us, because we get to ride the best dirt bike whenever we want .....

Why does Pivot cycles say that the Mach 5 won the 2009 Best of MTBR award for "Full Suspension All Mountain Bike"?

    http://www.pivotcycles.com/mach5.php#

Is the award given to more than one bike? How many?

As far as I can tell, Pivot didn't win any awards in 2009. So it's not like they mistakenly put the award on the Mach 5 page instead of the Mach 4 page

Maybe mtbr should send Pivot a cease and desist order?

I don't have an answer, but I did personally hold the ones for the Mach 5 and Mach 4 in my hand at the show, so MTBR did award them both to Pivot and also to Ibis.
