    HD3 Fork Upgrade

    Greetings fellow Ibis enthusiasts.
Looking to replace an aging 2015/16 160mm Pike on my HD3 with something equally or more burly, to complement the Fox X2 in the rear. One of the reasons is I bought the bike used and I think the steerer was cut too short for my liking.
    Any recommendations?

    Fox 36 RC2.

Itís a great fork for the HD3. I have one on my mine. Plus, it complements the X-2 very nicely in adjustability.

I like my MRP Ribbon. I have the air version cause I'm a weight weenie, but I may change over to coil to get more buttery smoothness.

Get a Push ACS3 coil conversion, it literally transformed my HD3. It does everything incomparably better: descending, uphill, it goes through everything at any speed with huge amounts of traction. It works so well that I dropped a tire size from 2.6 to 2.35, ending up loosing weight in the process. Cherry on the pie: if your fork is non-boost the ACS3 is on sale and it will cost you $200.

Steerer too short on mine, so looking to get a whole new fork. Coil is an interesting option though. MRP ribbon or CC Helm Coil could fit the bill.
