Feeding rear brake cable inside rear triangle?

    Hi guys

Just building my mojo hd and was wondering if the only way to get the brake through the rear triangle is to disconnect the hydro cables or disconnect the linkage?

Pic credit to Kenny Holding thanks

Yup. I tried letting the air out of the shock and compressing, but there was still not enough room. I disconnected the brake cable to get mine done.

I'd think taking the frame apart would be easier than disconnecting the hydro line unless you're already planning on doing a bleed.

Take the rear shock bolt and rear wheel off and see if you can move the swing arm far enough forward to thread the caliper through. You don't need to disconnect the hose.

just did it. Ended up taking off the shock bolt and slid in the brake lever somehow. I wouldnt' even be able to replicate it now. Seemed like one of those puzzles lol.

    Thanks guys for the input!
