Did Ibis drop Shimano XTR builds?

I noticed that XTR builds are no longer listed on Ibisí website. Any insight as to why?

factory builds keep changing all the time, they probably just decided their axs build would be their top build, probably a combination o price and market. same reason some brands use fox others use rockshox

Interesting. I ordered a new Ripmo with the XTR build. Ship date is August, so I wonder what I'll get.

They're moving to XX1 AXS as the top dog.

Or SRAM gave Ibis an offer they couldn't refuse.

After 4 years of happiness and trouble free experience with X01/XX1 Eagle, I took the risk of trying Shimano 12sp. I don't see going back until SRAM changes their cadence and shifting under power. AXS is very cool, but still doesn't fix the gearing or shifting while scrambling for the right gear on a climb. A bit annoying that IBIS dropped xtr from the builds...though XT is really good!

It seems several brands have dropped XTR builds. My take on this is that XTR inventory is running low and bike manufacturers are not waiting around for Shimano while the buyer market is hot.

That's too bad. I originally got the X01 and upgraded to AXS and it's okay, nothing special. I would like XTR but I'd probably miss my gears showing up in my Garmin which I do like very much.
