    Wheel weight

My girlfriend has an 06 Haro V5 with Pivot Disc 32h hubs laced to Pivot 32R rims. Any idea how much those weigh? I'm guessing somewhere in the 2300-2400 gram range.

Sorry, can't help you with that one. We don't make the V5 anylonger, so I don't have a sample I can weigh the wheels. You can just take them off and weigh them using a bathroom scale. Won't be overly accurate, but will give you an idea if you need to know.

I just sold 2-rims.. I forgot what they weigh, but they are pretty soft, heavy and not too strong..
The spokes are iffy, odd thread and the nipples are soft..

The Hubs however, are lighter than most, and strong..I laced them into some Sun Single-Trax

    front wheel + 203mm rotor (+6bolts) =1437 gr.

    rear wheel + 160mm rotor(+6bolts)+9 speed cog=1993 gr.

i think i weight them with rim tape...

    stock tires weight...

    fr wheel +kenda bluegroove 2.35 (large tire) + kenda tube= 2607gr.
rear wheel+ kenda nevegal 2.35 (same as the above)+ continental heavy tube= 3171

i found out they are durable, even for continued abuse.

with lighter 2.1 tires and regular tubes you can save 800 grs!

    good rides!

Boy...don't know if I can help you with that one. I'll have to see if we have a sample set not laced to wheels lying around. They'll be in line with other mid-range hubs...not crazy light, but not boat-anchor heavy either. I know that probably doesn't help you much. Lemme see what we have around here.
