Shift R9 LT Wheel Spacing and Tire Clearance

I can't seem to find info on hub spacing or tire clearance for the current 'Shift' models (except the 'plus').

Does anyone know if the 2016/2017 Shift and Shift LT frames are Boost spaced or not (142 or 148 rear hub) ?

Also, Has anyone managed to squeeze a larger rear tire in these frames? In some photos it looks like there is ALOT of extra clearance. Will a 2.6 fit?

I sent an email to Haro Support and they responded with this:

"The 2017 Shift R9 LT uses a 142mm rear hub spacing.

The maximum tire width it will work with is 2.5, which should be plenty for an All Mountain model. The width of tires will vary from brand to brand, so please, make sure to check the tires you have chosen beforehand."

I am honestly impressed with how quickly they got back with me- so I figured I'd share the info.
