    New to mountain biking.

Title says it. I'm new to mountain biking. I used to race box about 15 years ago. And I ride mild trails and street up to about 7 years ago.

But now I'm looking to shape up some and I missed being on a bike so I picked up a 2018 haro flightline two 27.5 as a beginner bike. Haven't got to hit any real trails yet at all with it just some city rides. But I did swap out the seat for one of similar size but better padding. Rode it 6.4 miles today though with a friend. Felt good to be on it.

I'm happy with it so far though. I'm considering some different pedals and grips. For grips I already know I want odi lock on rogues. But no clue for pedals. What's everyone like that won't break the bank.

Pic was before the bike shop put the regular 27.5's on. These ones are 29ers with a skinnier street tire.

Go check out the beginner forums, I think its under the General Forum. You will get way more advice. No one is ever on the Haro forum.

Welcome back to biking, that is a great decision.

My first mountain bike was a haro. 16 years old now....Put a LOT of miles on it. Still have it. Nice. Good luck.
