    Mechanical Question for Xeon VL160

I experience a noise coming from the suspension when I pedal.

I will try to explain what is happening:

The upper linkage consist of two black pieces held together by a silver brace. Bearings are installed from the inside of the linkage so when the linkage is not installed on the frame you can theoretically push the bearings out towards the center of the linkage.

This is sort of what is happening. The lower bearings seems to seated right against the frame held tightly by the linkage which is held together by the silver brace.

However the upper bearings are allowed for some lateral play. This causes the bearings to move in and out of the linkage as I pedal. I can see the rear frame triangle swivel from left to right against the linkage.

Everything is tightened to the spec. Please help.

    Thank you.

Added explanation: Simply I can grab the upper linkage by the top around the top bearing and pull it to the side and push it back while the real triangle is stationary. I can do this with both sides of the linkage.

    Hey Ozvena,

I think Pat said he's been helping you with this? Did you get this solved?

That one issue I thought it was resolved but this new one seems to be closely related and there is no solution yet. I left a voice mail for Pat yesterday and also contacted the dealer. Unfortunately the dealer had no solution and decided to call Haro.

I just got a call for the dealer. I should get a new linkage to fix this issue in a week or so. He was unable to explain me what is the difference between my current linkage and the replacement.
