    Haro Wexz XCR

Does anybody have one of these, or had one? What do you think about it for xc racing? How well will it hold up.

Yes I have ridden one quite a bit. Awsome bike, great for XC, I rode one all last season. Perfect cross country ride. I built mine with all Ritchey WCS components and it weighed in at sub 21 pounds, although I shoud say that I used V-brakes. The rear triangle is very stiff, yet is does take some of the hurt out. Pure power transmission into the rear wheel. Decends great, but like any race bike a little on the twitchy side. Hope that helps.

Those are the same frames our former XC pros Chris Sheppard and Seamus McGrath rode. In fact, Seamo competed at the Olympic Games on one. Neither of those guys rode custom frames. They were straight out of the box; same frames available to consumers.

Thanks for the replies. I really like the looks of this frame. I want to build it up for xc racing. I'm also loyal to the Haro brand.

Are these still available? My local dealer has not heard of them.

No, they were a high-end XC racing bike we made a couple of years ago.
