    2008 Mary Specs?

It looks like there have been some parts changes for 2008, but they arent up on Haro's site. Anyone know what the part spec is now?

No real changes at all. The new Mary's will get Kenda Nevegal tires. The first production run (which is just a few bikes) will have Salsa CroMoto stems on both the SS and XC; the XC will also have Salsa ProMoto bars. We had plans to spec these Salsa bits for the entire year, but circumstances beyond our control forced us to do a running change back to Ritchey in those areas going forward.

No other spec changes beyond what's listed above.

that's sweet that the Mary SS is coming with Nevegals. I have a pair of very lightly used Exiwolfs that came off my Mary when I replaced them with Nevegal (front) and Saguaro (rear). If the Mary came with Nevegals from the start, that would have saved me a good chunk of coin.

Any idea what the medium frame weight is? Sorry for all the questions, just 'weighing' all of my options With the price of the Mary, I could afford to get some pretty blingy (is that a word?) wheels...trying to figure out if the weight difference between the Mary and its competition is significant or not. Thanks again!

two more question on the 08

    Hi,
What length of crank comes on the 08 Mary SS in size large?
    Is it a 180mm crank?

The other question I have is, will the large fit me? I am 6.4. Riding a XL cannondale F29.
Specs other than seattube length look similar.

    Thanks
    Olaf

    I'm 6' 4.5" with a 36" inseam and ride a pair of 20in Marys with 120mm stems. I think it works great.

An 18 Mary weighs in about 5 1/4 pounds. Not too bad for a Cromo bike.

great, thanks! that pretty much makes up my mind- with that kind of weight, it would be very doable to have a sub-24 lb steel SS, which was my target

Mary XC comes in Tangerine Dream and the Mary SS comes in Carolina Blue and Humboldt Green.
