    2002 Haro TR2.2 24 (BMX) Fork Question

I have a 2002 Haro TR2.2 24 that has no suspension and i was looking too put a new small travel fork of some kind on the front. The fork tube seems to measure 1 1/8 inch thick, is this correct? If so do i just need to find the fork of my choice with that measurement? Im a little confused as to what is necassary when shopping for forks. As always any help is greatly appreciated!

You realize that's a BMX bike, right? Yes, the steer tube is 1 1/8", byt the wheel size is 24". If you use a fork for a 26" wheel, the bike is going to sit too high in the front. Yes, there are suspension forks available for 24" wheel bikes, but what you're likely to find will be take-off forks off's from lower-end 24" wheel mountain bikes. The quality on these forks isn't great if you plan to do anything more than just mellow riding on the bike path and pavement.
