    -= Stock Stem Size on X6 =-

How do you measure (sorry, should probably be in the n00b area) the stem to know what size my 2006 X6 has on it? I am interested in changing it (as I bashed my knee into the bolts) and wondered what is stock on there. Gravity stem? Any thoughts?

    The 2006 X6 came with a 75mm stem on the 14" and 16" sizes, 90mm of the 18", and 105mm on the 20".

It would still be good for you to know how to measure it.....

You measure from the top cap bolt (in the middle of the cap that sits on top of the stem) to the bar clamp (the line where the face plate meets the stem).

    Hope this helps.

    Jill,

I need to change my current stem to a longer one. Any idea what's the rise degree on the stock stem, 0? 5? Writen Pivit ST-10 on it.

    Thank you.
