    Revved frame cable management.

I am making this thread to show my solution to cable management on Revved frames. Like many owners of the new Guerrilla Gravity carbon frame I became frustrated with the side cover that bolts to the frame protecting the cables. While I think it looks good when installed, I got tired of trying to get the cables to lay just right every time I needed to remove it. With the help of others on this forum I designed and 3D printed bolt on clips that mount in place of the cover and allow the cable housings and brake hose to snap into place. At this time Iím selling these for $20 shipped in the US for 2 complete sets so that you have spare pieces if needed. I have the following colors available black, red, blue, and yellow. I can possibly get other colors, but at this time printer filament has not been easy to get, just let me know what youíre looking for. Thanks again NurseBen for testing and feedback.

That is rad! I haven't taken my cover off yet, but I would like to purchase a kit of those for when the time comes and I don't want to mess with the cover. What type of payment can you accept? And should we just PM you our info? Thx!

Is there not enough space to fit this spacer and still be able to bolt the cover on? If you printed different spacing?

The cable housings and brake hose barely fit under the cover by themselves. I canít see how you could cram anything else under there.

    Question: Why not use both?
Answer: The clips work great and the cover sucks.

So I've been using gen one clips on both my bikes for a while now, honestly they are exactly what GG should be using, they hold the lines securely, no binding, and very easy to install.

I just ordered the updated clips which are made with a more flexible nylon.

... and dig those four color choices, boom!

    No more covers for me!

These are great, I love mine. No issues with rowdy riding and the cables are now quiet. Plus I think the asymmetrical look is cool.

Just ordered a set in orange to go with the orange The Smash I ordered this morning. The cables look great in the above picture, and I hate messing with fiddly things.

I got the clips installed and am totally pumped. Clean and kinda cool lookin, and so much easier. Totally silent. Latest gen clips are pro level.

That would have to take some wizardry like modifying the cover to not secure with bolts, but like with hooks like found on interior car panels. Would be clever to use the cover's bolt holes to attach a mechanism to it that can easily release the hooks, and adding the holes receive the hooks to the side of these clips. Maybe some twist lock mech might be an alternative? I dunno how close fitting the cover is, nor how acceptable it would be to float a mm or two higher than usual to make room for the mechanism, or if you're alright with having the mechanism showing on the exterior.

But thereís no reason for the cover if you have the clips.

The clips work better than the cover: no cable binding, no struggle to get the lines flush when cinching the bolts, no need to loosen the cover when adjusting lines, lines can move in the clips, and one line can be removed without removing all lines.

I think the clips are lighter than the cover, not that cover is heavy.

The frosting is color choices, bling 😊

I'd like to see black on a frame with colored decals (I have purple, which they don't make anymore), and then orange (my Smash has orange decals).

I have black decals on my frame, Iím not sure if Iíve sent black to anyone with purple or orange decals.

I can do split color sets if youíre unsure about what you want or want to mix and match. I sold a set of red, white, blue, and black to a member and Iím hoping to get more white filament to be able to offer that combo as well as put it on my bike.

Now if only we had a solution to run the dropper post cable down the right side of the bike. The channel/cover idea would've worked better had GG done it on both sides.

Abunchahicks you have the best handwriting I've ever seen. You must be a draftsman or an architect. Thanks for sending them out so quickly; I'll post pics if my bike arrives before someone else posts pics.

Here you go, apologies for the pic...

One thing to mention that with the OEM cover the housings rattled at bit. After one ride with the clips, gone.

Funny, thatís what I went to school for 22 years ago my teacher was passionate about the architects font, I guess some of it stuck. I ultimately decided to go into engineering but still enjoy CAD and designing things like these clips. I look forward to seeing your new bike.

Yes thank you but the frames are black so Iím looking at the orange clips.

My pistola/Dogg was just built up today, and my friend who did the building hates the cover, so I pointed him to this tread.

Iíll definitely order my orange set hopefully in the next couple weeks, but I just spent so much on bike stuff I need a bit of a break. Getting that second revved frame up with both shred dogg and pistola setups was a lot in a couple months time.

    Hey abunchahicks,

About your lower bottle mount angle bracket - looks pretty good. I'll get back to you with what I might need to fit a "normal" bottle and cage.
