will a RaceFace Ride XC BB work for a 2008 powerspline GT Avalanche 2.0?

this is the cranks and the bottom bracket on the RaceFace Ride XC. I was told by my lbs that it should work but their confidence or lack of knowledge keeps me from buying something without being positive. My 2008 GT avalanche has a powerspline bb and i'd like to upgrade.

    hopefully someone can chime in.

if ther BB is screw in english thead, whixh it shouyld be and the Raceface BB is the same, which it should be (not press fit or something) then it shoudl fit...

... but raceface BB... not sure thats an upgrade to anything. I;ve got one sitting in a box, but they have the reputation of being nice, for a 12 seconds before you have to pull it out and through it away. Don't know if it's true, as haven't used mine yet (or the cranks), but thats the impression I get.
All the gear and no idea.

I've had several RaceFace BB and never had a problem.

OP, if you are installing both the RF cranks and BB just follow the instructions for spacing depending on 68 or 73 mm bb shell and you'll be fine.
