What Year Model is this?
Not the actual picture, but it looks just like this. Wondering if anyone knows the year model?

Forgot to add, it's an Avalanche GT 2.0. Deore LX derailleur, appears to be an 8 speed. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, that's what I thought too, seller says 2016. Wanted a second opinion before I called him out.

2016? Hell no. Is it an 8 speed? 26” wheels. It’s old and worth very little. How much is he asking?

$225. Waaaay too high for an '01 bike. And he's sticking to the year, so I'm passing.

Good for you. He’s either a liar, or an idiot. I wouldn’t pay more than $50, honestly. Moving on.

The stickers are 2001. That model in 2001 came with a 9 speed.
It cost $850 new back in 2001. Not worth paying more than $75 today

I remember this bike! It was a topic of discussion back in 2015!

But seriously, ask for the Serial # because usually for GTs they work the year in there.
