    Helion 29er build.

    Helion 29er build - was originally a 27.5.
Fox 110mm travel boost fork - reduced from 130mm. Tried a 100mm travel RS Reba fork but feel the Fox suits it a little better.
Offset shock bushings to slacken head angle and lower ride height.
    1 x 10 (32 nw oval chainring & 11-42).
    e13trs 28internal 29er rims.
2.35 front tyre, 2.25 rear tyre (plenty of clearance).
Will change old dropper for new 125 mm KS lev Integra.
Only other changes I feel the need to do will be grips and saddle.
Unlikely to change back to a 27.5.

Nice xc 29er conversion right there! I still can't understand why GT stopped making a true 9r trail bike. A carbon 120-140mm Zaskar or Sensor similar to this frame would sell. The market is there for, so they should jump back in damnit. While they're at it, make one with boost spacing and room enough for high volume tires up 2.6....waay better ride and just a light as a 2.4 tire imo.

Did you notice much of a difference in ride with the offset bushings? I was thinking of doing the same. Were you able to use the offset bushings on both ends of the shock?

Thanks for the comments. I heard rumour that GT may very well be bringing out something different this year. Would expect it to be boost and hopefully something in 29er guise. They do need to make sure the weight does not creep up. I used bushings on both ends of the shock to get maximum effect. Am currently testing whether the bike is better with a 46mm or 51mm offset fork.
