    GT Zaskar 9r thru axle

My frame (ebay) came without the rear 12 x 142 thru axle and was looking to get the replacement for it. Does anyone know the correct thru axle for the 2014 carbon 100 frame? Looking to run a DT 350 and they are saying that the thru axle for the hub is frame specific, which is why I am now searching for the proper axle.

There are 3 different types of 12mm thru axles. The Zaskar I have takes the E-type.

Well, still no luck fitting the correct thru-axle for my frame, and its the only part holding up my build. I have been through 3 different axles and banging my head again the wall with this....so frustating. My local bike shop recommended (they are a GT dealer) to purchase the Maxle Lite....Maxle Lite Rear MTB for Trek ABP, 12x142mm (Length 192mm, Thread Length 20mm, Thread Pitch M12x1.75), Black. But this is way too long and my rear dropouts are not even threaded to support this axle.
The other one I tried was a standard Shimano 12x142 e-type, but it was too short and the nut was too big to even fit in the droupout flush. Is it really this difficult to source the correct thru-axle for this bike?? Almost ready to buy a bolt and nut from Home Depot and call it good DIY! Thoughts? Thanx.

Boy, do I feel dumb. This very axle has been sitting on my bench the past few months, the SM-AX76. I gave up on it too quickly when I 1st tried it out and noticed that the nut would not fit flush to the frame. Well today I decided to try it again, for like the 3rd time....but I REMOVED the 2 small dropout bolts 1st. Then placed the thru-axle nut and screwed the 2 bolts back in to the dropout, slid the thru axle in and it magically fit into the now properly installed thru-axle nut!

Now, I can partially blame my lbs for trying to steer me toward the Maxle Lite, which is not correct for this frame. Sometimes it just helps to look at things differently and figure shit out yourself. Thanks for the heads up and the helpful link above!
