GT No Longer Sold in my Neck of the Woods!

Fuji Bikes’ Parent Company Now Owns Performance | Bicycling

Went down to Performance Bike in Boise, Idaho last weekend, No GT's except one lonely Small Carbon Zar from a year or Two ago on Blow-Out for $750.

Bunch of Fuji and other Odd Brands, I did like some of the Charge bikes a few years ago, didn't see many of those either this time.

Looks like GT is sold at America's Bike Company:

    Americas Bike Company

And yeah, with Performance being owned by ASI, they want to sell more of their "in-house" brands as they have control over the manufacturing, distribution, and retail stores whether that's online or brick & mortar. Per Performance employees, they had exclusive rights to sell GT bikes which is why they were practically non existent at area LBS. That said, I hope GT can get LBSs to sell their bikes since Dick's Sporting Goods really isn't a dedicated bike shop that can dedicate the time and knowledge that you should be obtain to expect at an LBS.
