This a reminder of the festivities occurring next weekend Saturday, June
12 at Perry Lake State Park and Sunday June 13, 2004 at Clinton Lake
State. The trails are groomed and ready for some knobby good times. All
the info you need can be found below.


A FEW IMPORTANT ITEMS OF NOTE:
1. Camping, Music and Food will be available Saturday Night, at Clinton
Lake State Park. Don't miss out. On the evening (at sundown) of June
12th, a mini-concert with the Acoustic Bluegrass Band "The Prairie
Acre" will take place along with an evening BBQ at the race campsite.
On June 13th, a morning pancake feed and noon BBQ will be available.
Monies raised by food concessions will go towards the Baldwin City
Lumberyard Arts Center Project.
2. A $5.00 One day vehicle pass must be purchased at the park entrance.
(Clinton Lake Only)
3. Expert racers and above need to have a NORBA license!

CROCODILE ROCK EVENT DETAILS:

***On-site camping and bunkhouses are available on Friday evening***

WHEN: Saturday, June 12. We race Rain or Shine.

WHERE: Perry Lake State Park. Perry, KS. Kansas State Grange and
Conference Center.

DIRECTIONS:
From the East, take I-70 from Kansas City to exit 204 (Lawrence). Head
north and follow Hwy 24. Turn right (north) on Hwy 237. Go 4 miles.
Cross the bridge and look for the trail head sign in the State Park.
From the West, take Hwy 24 from Topeka, 8 miles to Hwy 237. Turn left
(north) on Hwy 237. Go 4 miles. Cross the bridge and look for the
trail head sign in the State Park. Turn in where you see the RACE TODAY
signs.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS for Saturday, June 12th
8:00am Race Day registration opens.
10:00am Registration closes.
10:15am Racer meeting.
10:30am And they're off! The Crocodile Rock Point to
Point starts.
1:00pm Kids Race
1:30pm Awards ceremony

* Camping will be available after the event @ Clinton Lake State Park
(see below for details). So stick around and enjoy a peaceful sleep
under the stars.

Directions From Perry Site to Clinton Site: Take 237 south to HWY 24. Go
east on 24 to Perry and go south (right) on 1029a. Go through Lecompton
and continue south to HWY 40. Turn east (left) on HWY 40 until you come
to K-10. Go south on K-10 to Clinton Lake exit. Follow signs to
Campground #1.

COURSE INFO for Saturday, June 12th: (CROCODILE ROCK POINT TO POINT)
We promise that the course will be challenging, fast, and above all else
FUN. That is guaranteed.

General info: Perry has fairly technical trails w/ rocks and mostly
short-up climbs.


Sport/expert (ORANGE course):

Current Conditions---> perfect. fast.

Length---> 14.0 miles (apx)

Lap times---> if conditions stay the same, experts will be in the 60
minute range

All Classes will do one (1) lap.


Beginner/first-timer (BLUE course)

Conditions: ---> perfect. fast.

Length--->8 miles (apx)

Lap times--->if conditions stay the same, times will be in the 40-45
minute range.

All Classes will do one (1) lap.


Kids Race---> The kids race will be run on a separate course around the
main event site.

*Of course, this is all subject to change depending on factors outside
of our control.

RAGE AGAINST THE RAVINE EVENT DETAILS:

Conditions: ---> perfect. fast.

Length--->54 miles (apx)

Lap times--->if conditions stay the same, times will be in the 25-30
minute range.

First-timer women= 1 lap
First-timer men= 1 lap
Beginner women= 2 laps
Beginner men= 2 laps
