    Wahoo computer charger

I have an element bolt that I would like to have running for a 24hr race. Wahoo says they can run and charge at the same time, but don't have any recommendations for what to use. I will need 2 full recharges, what do you all recommend?

Note that there are usb cables that are only for charging and not data transfer - these are the cables I use (with my garmin 520). Thankfully the bigger niterider batteries have a usb port (allegedly doesn't work during operation of the lights but I've not experienced that tbh).

Worst case buy/borrow another head unit for the race.

Give it a shot during a training ride, what's the worst that can happen.

Just grab one of those 'Lipstick' battery packs and duct tape it to your stem.
I don't know the capacity of the Wahoo battery, but one of those packs at 3-4,000 MAH will probably do the trick. They don't weigh very much and are pretty compact. They are cheap... buy two, if one doesn't get you there , just swap it for on another at a pit stop.

You should be able to get 15+ hours from the Wahoo before you need to strap on a battery pack.
