    FIT file modification

I left my Garmin on after a ride and drove home. I want to edit the ride to take out the drive.
I have gone into Garmin Connect to edit the ride and that is correct now.
The problem Iím having is with my Edge 530 computer. I have tried modifying the .fit file using the website Fit File Tools but I canít get the Edge to show the modified info.
    Can anyone help with this?

Why does it matter what the device shows? IIRC, running totals are stored elsewhere on the device and you'd probably have to dig and edit those manually. You should be clearing activities off your device with some regularity, anyway, as the memory will fill up.
