    Another HRM question

I use an iPhone 8 with the RidewithGPS app. All is good. Love this app. Id like to get a HRM that links to the app.
Wahoo Tickr is one that a friend is using. But looking on the Amazon site and reading reviews, there are at least 20% of the reviews that are either 1 or 2 stars. What are others using?

WRT to reviews, you need to drill into the why of the review. especially with tech stuff. SO MANY unrealistic expectations, people who didn't research compatibility before buying, and people who are just tech dumb and can't make it work. Others' complaints will be more related to their phone and/or app of choice rather than the strap itself. Plus you're always going to wind up with some lemons with electronics, so some folks will have some legit negative reviews of a product and gave up on it before trying out a replacement.

AFAIK, the Wahoo Tickr is what you want if you're looking for a dual-band (BT and ANT+) HRM strap.

When I remember to take it, i use the standard $49 Tickr. The TickrX is more for runners.

I bought the Trickr at a local REI and its working fine. A little finicky with the RWGPS app, but, works fine with the Wahoo app and the strap is very comfortable.
