    Stp

I am looking to get a new bike pretty soon and I was set on an XTC until I saw the STP. I know they are two different bikes but can the STP handle a lot of single track riding? I do a lot of up hill stuff also will the STP keep up with that?

Friend had one for dirt jumping and he trail rode it a bit but with massive amounts of seatpost showing and a cramped cockpit for climbing. I guess if you bought a size up it might do it better, but then it wouldn't be such a nice jump bike...

Depending on your size, you may get away with it.

With a reasonably light build, some decent tyres and the seat as far back on the rails as possible I can get away with some pretty serious trail riding on the larger STP frame size. It’s hardly an “ideal” trail bike, but its good fun.
