    Seatpost diameter on VT

    Hi

What is the correct diameter of seatpost for a VT ?
I want to change the EA50 seatpost in order to not use reducter (shim) anymore.
    Thanks

    Laurent

I could be wrong here, but I think it's 30.8. An my AC, the shim indicated the size, which I verified with calipers. Have you looked at the shim?

Use a caliper to determine the size

    That's your best bet.

    VT Seatpost size

Yes it is 30.8mm - not many seatposts are available in this size. Thomsen does make this size seatpost. I just have been using the shim that came with the frame and have not had any issues with it.
