    New fork for Trance?

Im new to swapping parts out.

i would like to replace the fork on my 2014 Trance Advanced 1.

it looks like the Overdrive 2 makes this not straightforward. What do i need to know? Additional parts or bearings? There is a Pike for sale locally of a Bronson. What do I need to look for?

    thanks!

You just opened that 1001 overdrive 2 thread and the internet broke. Shame on you

Well I spent an hour sifting through the threads and ended up more lost than when I started.

    But thanks just the same,

Ask a friend to help you read the threads or just leave the fork the way it is. Why do you wanna have a new one

Awesome. Ask a question and get tired adolescent humor.

Sorry, I don't have a lot of disposable time and until a couple of days ago didn't know what Overdrive 2 was nor the effect on the bearings. I didn't want to make a mistake where clearly others had; simple question.

Anyway, I'll just head down to my LBS instead.

You'll need a 1 1/8" top headset bearing to replace the 1 1/4" OD2 bearing, plus a stem/stem shim insert to fit your new fork. Make sure that the used fork has an adquate length of steer tube to fit your Trance. Your LBS can inform you of the cost for rebuild that most any used fork will need.
