... and if we just ... Like a kid on Xmas Eve

Been out of the riding scene for a good while, but recently started to get back on the old Gay Fisher and hit some local trails. Realized that the components while still up to task, are terribly outdated and in need of replacement. Figured it was a better idea to reinvest in a new ride! My wife being extremely awesome, surprised me today and let me know she ordered me a Trance X4 which was "built" today and ready for pickup first thing tomorrow. I've had this Gary Fisher since around 1995 I think and always wanted a full suspension bike; so needless to say, I'm super excited about this!

Well I'd like to post a picture but apparently my post count isn't high enough yet. The bike is awesome and completely night and day difference from my old Fisher. No trails yet but the couple of quick rides I've taken around the neighborhood have me craving some time off the beaten path. A little more weight than my old bike but the efficiency of this package certainly trumps my old ride 10 fold. Looking forward to getting out for my first trail report ASAP!
