    'Light' cranks for Faith ?

I know it's more a drivetrain board topic, but did any of you Faith/Glory owners find a relatively light cranks for 83mm wide bb ?? It doesn't have to be an outboard bearings type cranks... I want to change the stock RF Evolve DH, which I reckon are heavy crap.... but I can't find any reasonably priced and more than 100g lighter cranks....

ok but this Saint model are 2007 and with two rings weigths 1,188g and that is not much less than RF Evolve DH (does anybody know how much are they, with two rings and bash?)
Moreover, are Saint 2008 model with 32-22 chainrings or with 36-22 maybe ??

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Any crank that is designed for a 83mm bb shell is gonna be for a FR / DH bike. As a result, you're unlikely to find a crank that is much lighter than the saint. Maybe some Gravity Lites from FSA??

    Cheers,
    EB

As soon as you know sth. about their availability and price, please let me know, maybe you'd get a better price than me? I'd buy a set without chainrings, but everything depends on price.... :/

I called Unibike, I talked to some guy which claimed he had "Gravity Light" crankset on stock on this year... I didn't believe him...
So, I wrote an e-mail to FSA Europe and I asked about availability... I was told Gravity Light MegaExo 2008 will be available in 4-6 weeks. The guy also gave some catalogue numbers, so I could order proper cranksets at Unibike... I hope it will work.
I don't know the price, yet.
And, as I understood, there would be 2-chainring + bashguard version available, only.
I will let you know, when I get some further info

hmm that's a pity cause they give 22-32 chainrings and small bashguard. I wish the bigger ring was 36t :/ I hope you'll get a good price for them
