    Giant Reign Sizing?

Anyone know what size Reign someone who is 6'2" and 220 should be riding? I can't find any sizing chart on the US or Canada site? Or I'm blind and can't find it! lol

google for "giant reign sizing" brings up all kinds of sizing charts (there is 3 types) and other threads opened by people who were equally unable to Google for the damn sizing chart themselves

I googled "giant reign sizing", all the charts that come up are older models prior to the 2018 model.

just to clarify the Reign that was released in summer 2017 = MY 2018

thus my original post was misleading,
MY2015-MY2017 (released 2014-2016) was the old frame
MY2018 onwards Is the new frame with boost and slightly longer geometry

The MY2019 model already shows up in the dealer system and should be accessible on the official websites soon, again the frame geometry will stay the same for 3 seasons.

XL for sure, especially considering how low the stack is on those bikes.

I have a XL, 6'1" and #240 with a 32" inseam, first bought the L but was too small.

'18 models are a little longer than '17...

    I'm 6ft w/ 32" inseam & +5 ape index.

458mm reach on my size L, '17 GR2 is ok.

Was better w/ the 800mm wide bars - but, trees around here only respect 785mm or narrower.

Otherwise I'd still be rockin' the 800's.

Having tried the current Reign myself I'm pretty sure you're on a L size as is the vast majority of people your size. I'm 5'11" and right in between M and L, somehow neither size fit me particularly well given my 34.5" inseam (tried both last year)

However, when it comes to bicycle sizing personal preference and psychological factors play a role too, there is not definitive right size for your body measurements, just recommendations. And recommendations are worthless because what if you belong to the 10% of people who prefer a smaller or larger frame (like the guy above), what if you have proportionally shorts arms which isn't even considered in any of the sizing charts?

Then there is also the people on the forums who cannot concede to the fact that they obviously bought the wrong size and continue giving away wrong sizing recommendations to other people in order to reaffirm their own buying decision, further complicating the topic.

Btw here is a picture of that very hard to find 2018 Reign sizing chart:
