... and if we just ... Giant NRS: How to obtain more rear travel?

    Hi everyone!!

I would like to know if I can change the rear shock of my NRS 850 for a bigger one. The question is: How big can it be?

Any other tricks to get more travel on this bike?.

Just to clarify, you cannot run a longer stroke shock.

or a different Eye to Eye length. Mr. Fire is right, you will need at least the rocker arms. The shock is personal preference, but the longer arms will work out the SID pretty hard. You will need a 6.5" e2e, with a 1.5" stroke length. Cheers!

Increasing the travel on an NRS kind of defeats the purpose of the NRS suspension - certainly don't huck the thing. I broke an NRS frame doing hard techno riding and light hucking 2-3 footers at most.

You need a VT or an AC (I dumped my the proud papa of a 2003 AC-1)
