Dropping weight on '04 NRS Air

I recently purchased my NRS Air but am wondering what others have done (if anything) to upgrade their stock components to help drop the weight of the entire bike!

    Any suggestions?

I don't own a NRS air, but would like too!! Just looking at the specs, here are the best places to save weight and cheap.
    1. Replace your grips with foam grips, this is an easy 60grams!
    2. Get egg beaters or similar light weight pedal
    3. Replace saddle with SLR or something, but if you find the current saddle comfy, don't bother.
    4. Replace your tires with light weight normal non UST tires and run sealent, such as python airlights witth stans sealant.
Other then that the spec on your bike looks pretty damn sweet, I want one!!!

As I remember the stock components of a NRS Air is: XTR Dsic, Crossmax SL, Titec.. right? If true then loose the XTR group and the Crossmax wheels and go for Sram X.0, Formula B4SL brakes and a Am Classic wheelset with Stans rims... should save you about 0,5-1 kg!

    Enjoy!

I've got an 02 Rockshox SID Worldcup w/blackbox carbon steerer for sale. Its lighter than a skareb. You could lose more than half a lb right there. edit: actually I have an Easton CT2 carbon flat bar uncut, for sale too, it is ridiculously light.
