    D Fuse Seat Post Question

Anyone have anything, good or bad, to say about the D Fuse post? I'm not a big fan of non standard parts. And a D shaped seat post is as non standard as it gets.

I have a D Fuse post on my TCX. It provides flex and you never have to worry about the saddle being straight so it's really fast to adjust the seat height if necessary.

Thanks, what works in practice is sometimes different than theory.

I have a 2015 TCX and I have never had any issues with the seatpost. The clamp works perfectly even with my heavy butt. The offset was a concern but I was able to find enough adjustment for my fit. Giant also sells a zero offset seatpost if needed. I probably have 3K dirt miles and 400 pavement miles on it. With bikepacking I have hung some 25lb loads from the seat rails and secured to the seatpost with no issues either.

I had Dfuse on my 2015 Defy and it kinda worked.
The auto align feature wasn't that "auto" and it would always turn to the side a bit and you had to hold it to be in the center.

Single bolt head is also pain to use, 2 bolt heads are far better.
