    BB92 question

Iíve had many Giant bikes since 1998. The last 6 bikes have all been press fit BB92. Some have been 10 speed and some have been 11 speed, some boost some non boost. Iíve never kept one long enough to have to replace parts unless I was upgrading. Some bikes have had no BB spacers, some have had a 2.5 spacer on the drive side and one had a 2.5 spacer on the non drive side. So my question is when to use the spacer. I thought BB92 did not require a spacer...so why the inconsistency from OE?

    Thanks,

    Jason

BB92 has spacing of 89.5 or 92, when it is spaced at 89.5 (like on my 2018 reign)it needs the 2.5mm spacer.
