    2017 Trance 2 rear axle

So I bought a 2017 Trance 2 and am loving it but I noticed that the rear axle is not a maxle. I need an Allen key to remove it. It was a pain in the ass when I had to change a flat trail side and forgot my multitool at home.

Anyways, I'm looking around to get a maxle to put on my bike and am wondering if other than looking for "boost spacing 12 mm rear axle" , is there any other characteristics that I need to look for?
Anyone know what the threading on the axle is?

    Thanks

Mine and this one have it printed on the shaft.

It's cheaper to stash a 6mm key on the bike somewhere.

duct tape a 6mm on frame somewhere and "forgetaboutit!" For rides less than 2 hrs, I travel with a 4" x 4" Husky zipper nylon pouch I carry in my pocket. Whats inside is: multitool, license, quicklink, car keys. In my other pocket is my phone.

Lately ive been packing my small camelback with the above junk inside. I hate stuff in my pockets. Oh I have a 25oz water bottle in cage. Good to go!

2+ hr rides, larger camelback with the above junk with added spare tube, small pump,4 clifbars, derailluer hanger, maybe more water..
