    The top end Specialized and Trek road bikes are $12,000 for off the shelf, mass produced bikes. Spending $20k for a custom road bike is not hard to do.

    Yeah was at a triathlon today, megabucks all round. Done a few Vet's road races this year, also megabucks all over the place... but then my Look wasn't exactly cheap either.
    All the gear and no idea.
