New question here. Trek Fuel main pivot replacement

Does anyone have instructions for doing this? Couldn't find it in the manual or online. My main questions are torque values and whether any locktite/etc is used on the bushing itself.

    Thanks for any info . . .

Check the Gary Fisher site, Im pretty sure they have Sugar manuals online. The pivots are identical..

Hey, cben....I emailed Trek last year about bushing replacement and they emailed me instructions for the whole process (I think they scanned the tech manual and sent the pages as .jpeg files, which seemed kinda wierd, but, hey...they were VERY prompt about it) I can e-mail them to you if ya want (pm me with yer e-mail addy, as it isn't available to the general public...heh) Or, if you can give me a day or so to locate the files, I can just answer ya here....just have to find which disc I saved it on..... Loktite is used in the process (290 ???..something like that) and they have the torque figures as well (just can't remember them off the top of my head, and all...). I'll look when I get a chance...

Fuelish, you sent them to me last year (Thanks again). I have them if you haven't already sent them.

But don't faint at the price if you need to buy the locktite! I went to our local Granger to get a bottle, it was 39 bucks! Go to your trek dealer and mooch a little off of them
